No Brock should of lost to dean Ambrose in that gimmick match and he wouldn't of been hurt .

I think you had a Freudian slip here on the injury and timeline I was talking about concerning Goldberg, not Brock.
Past that Ambrose was not going to get the decision over Brock but it could have been compelling.

I have a feeling Goldberg's going to get hurt

Hopefully Brock doesn't go to hard , I believe they're friends IRL

Sting was injured in his time honored wwf buries and squashes a legend in their go away match.
So, I would not look forward to seeing any of the WWE sting stuff.
As, it offers no payoff for fans who have nostalgia.
When sting was actually do an jimmy conners run for the title if the WWE had any vision.
As far as Goldberg the match is this Sunday and it features the return of the match in 2004.
we never got in good faith quality wise from Brock and Goldberg.
So, I would check it out.
just know the wwf has a track record of squashing anyone who was from a different promotion or era.
who was a draw just for shyt's and giggles and hides behind kayfabe traditions for grapplers way over the hill to job.
So, I would not go in thinking of nostalgia or wwf booking a compelling match between goldberg and Brock.

Oh yeah,...
Brock, could have suffered a lauce and imo, should suffer a loss.
As Brock needs to lose to suspend belief for wrasslin moving forward and Brock should lose to Goldberg to enforce suspension of belief as well.
If Brock wins that decision pigeon holes all of wrasslin moving forward and hurts it as a suspense base product.
when, wrasslin at its core is strictly a suspense based commodity.
If Brock wins it takes away any suspense from all of wrasslin moving forward and especially WWE.
As, it creates and devalues every grappler including Brock as a draw inherently at the very core of what makes wrasslin compelling and is also the same compelling energy.
That gave wrasslin its first blockbuster draw from hulk Hogan as thunderlips inring against rocky in rocky III.

Just the fact, this match feels to be booked with the same squash match vibes of every Brock match.
Hurts wrasslin and if Goldberg does not win.
it damages wrasslin as a convincability based draw.
As it disturbs any suspense attached to what is integral to wrasslin as a draw being a work.
