I never had a problem with the Starrcade loss. It took 3 dudes interfering, one with a fukking taser, then getting hit with one of the most protected finishers of the previous 4 years to beat him. He had to lose sometime. It isn't just Nash blowing smoke up his own ass, crowds really were audibly picking Nash over Goldberg for the entire build of that match. Right guy at the right time to end the streak, imo.

I don't know if it was the right choice, but it at least was one that could've worked. Flair vs Hogan main events by February was the real problem

Hall was and always would be the personification of the Wolfpac. Nash's was just riding the wave.
If I remember correctly wasn't Hall doing the Lone Wolf thing at this time, the next night is finger poke of doom and the band gets back together? Right?

Yes. But by that time the Wolfpac was already cool from the black and white v Wolfpac storyline. Hall made the Wolfpac hot.

It wasn't the next night, it was two weeks later. Hall turned on Nash at like...the very beginning of the Wolfpac/Hollywood split, wasn't a part of it at all once the Wolfpac became an official stable instead of just Nash/Hall/Syxx. But Hall and Nash had kind of reconciled before Starrcade.

I'm sure you can see the difference between a company the size of ROH making Lethal a double champ, and a company the size of WCW making Booker a multi time world champion.
This isn't a casual forum though so people here understand the significance of what ROH is doing.

What ROH is doing literally doesn't matter. No one is going to look back and be like

"List of Black World Champions:
Ron Simmons (WCW)
Booker T (WCW, WWE)
The Rock (WWE)
Jay Lethal (ROH)"

ya know?
