Debatable, in ring product of WCW was largely still trash

Outside NWO what does anyone really remember from WCW?
I used to watch Wcw strictly for the crusierweights. Malenko, Jericho, Eddie, Chavo, Juvi, etc. I would watch the first hour or so of Wcw. Then turn to wwe.

To me the cruisers stole the show. Always fukkery

WCW's mid card had a good share of future/potential (if Vince wasn't angry at them Steiners, Goldberg, Raven, DDP) hall of famers. WWE had the better story/character development which is why they outlasted and buried WCW but the in ring stuff from WCW was no joke in 1997/1998.

If only they'd started moving the Midcard up accordingly and started mixing them up against the old guard in 1998 (Eddie, Benoit, Dean, Booker T, Jericho etc)

WCW nailed the presentation of Goldberg, the boxing entrance with the wrestling pomp and circumstance. It was Mike Tyson like

The goldberg booking was great hare it or love it

Rsrely spoke matches under 7 minutes atrong entrance, credible heels, and semi forced the crowd to believe they care about the guy

Vince was such a petty fukk back then. :mjlol: Having them Scheme Gene, Nacho Man, Billionaire Ted and Huckster skits when he was getting that work from WCW. Also talking shyt about giving away matches for free just to do the same years later

The thing is...and I hate to admit this now...but as a kid who was in 6th or 7th grade during the time...this stuff actually used to work pretty well (At least amongst my circle). We used to think that Gillberg shyt was funny....:mjlol: Didn't hurt that I was a young smarky NWO fan, so I was like fukk that cat anyways....:russ:

Also, does anyone remember when Austin had a chair-shot streak? I swear I remember they went a couple of weeks where they were tallying up his chair shots, or something like that. I can't really remember the specifics but I oddly remember being hyped over it.
