He does it with more help then any other player in history, arguably. And his stats weren't even that great this year. So how you gonna argue he's the best? :dahell:

He averaged 25.3/4.5/6.6/1.8 while posting a 47/41/90 shooting slash. That's spectacular. Playing next to great players doesn't somehow make you less great. I didn't say he was the best either. I said the premise that he's not great or not the greatest because he's teammates with an all time great is an absurd notion. There isn't some finite limit to how much greatness is allowed on a team and that it has to be divided up.

The strength of his team is just one side of the argument. It doesnt automatically disqualify him, but its significant

If Magic had 7 rings, people still wouldn't put him above Jordan
