As someone in IB, I’ve never seen it as bad as it has been over the past year - my junior teams have 2-3am nights 3-4 days a week at least if not more and I really try and not create work for the sake of it. Bonuses being restrained at the big banks didn’t particularly help (boutiques paid out well because they don’t care about Main Street perception).
