Watched all 3 of the all time Centers documentaries

Kareem - Minority of One
Bill Russell - Legend
Wilt Chamberlain - Goliath

All of them were classic :blessed: :wow: . Can't choose which one of the 3 was the best

I watched it. I made a post about how I thought Wilt didn’t have any kids but a man claiming to be his son was on there.

And Ben Taylor is cool but I wasn’t feeling having him on there. He has biases against certain players and Wilt is one of them.

But it was interesting seeing the backlash he got for his claim about 20,000 women. And hearing about Wilt and Paul Arizin’s granddaughter was touching.

A lot of that was cause that was during the AIDS panic and the push for "safe sex" and he really failed to read the room making a claim like that at that time

What did it say about the guy claiming to be his son?

Did Wilt have knowledge of his existence or not?

Also it was just an outright lie.

Saying that, the clip of that woman asking his HIV status was obnoxious and just as wrong.

The family has embraced him. Wilt had no knowledge. The mother put him up for adoption at birth as it was a one night stand and she was white.

The child is now 6’6”

Good that they have embraced him.

I remember reading an article about his son several years ago, and at that time Wilt's surviving family members refused to take any blood tests to help confirm the relationship.

Wilt was 1-7 against Russell’s Celtics in playoff series and 17-4 against everyone else which is an excellent record.

The 1969 finals was not a good look but I wonder how different his legacy would be if he wasn’t playing his prime as that dominant dynasty

He wasn’t even as harsh as he used to be against him
