just finished episode 5, quick thoughts while i'm waiting to go.........we in the thick of it now.

have to mention the graceful watch removal by Trak when he was in Rome.
style points for it being swiftly after he took a quick bump off of his knife.

Trieste looked beautiful at night in this episode when Ciro and Genny where there the night before the meet.
need to make a plan to visit there next time i go to Italy.

no man that walks pigeon-toed as Ciro does should have so many brushes with death b.
he's had more than say...Nathan Drake at this point.

quick mention to Genny's tacky ass apartment though.

I just had a feeling Prince was going to get bodied when he gave that kid his "talisman" Gomorra tradition since last season. Build up a supporting character and then body him. They did the same to Rosario, spent one episode shytting on him and a quarter showing how he and Ciro stayed tight then he gets sprayed.

And while we're on that why didn't Ciro just let Rosario know that he suspected someone else instead of flat out accusing him and telling him to go away until he proved it was someone else? And he knows Don Pietro still in the cut unhappy about everything! Now Ciro really has nobody. Gonna be interesting how long he lasts with nobody trustworthy in his corner.

Only dudes I'm rooting for right now are Ciro and Trak. I really don't want to see Pietro win this season. I like Genny but he can too. Looks like Scaniel is the focus for next episode, I hope Malammore's niece gets exposed

fukk Dwarf - that hoe-ass nikka was hating on my nikka Prince like a bytch. Prince had the Nubian princess too. I thought Don P played that shyt flawlessly until I saw that he let the dude that set Prince up live. Soon as I saw that I knew Ciro and them would find that nikka. That's how I know Don P really ain't a chess player like the other cats - Ciro or Genny would've killed that nikka and tied up any loose threads. I think Genny fukked up letting Ciro live though - I think it will come back and bite him in his ass. I hope not anyway as Gennys been my favourite character this season which is mad cause I thought he was a fakkit in season 1

Iirc. Genny gave his former homeboys a reason to why he didn't do it. It would have started a giant mess if he clapped Ciro. I think that dude's daughter he fukkin' would have been about it too.

Genny's real problem seems to be Don Pietro and Trak. He had the right idea with making a mole in the alliance but he chose the wrong mole. If Prince wasn't flashy and covered his bases, Genny probably could have had this whole shyt in the bag.

Yeah I feel they're telegraphing shyt too much this season. It's been entertaining and intriguing to see where the story ends up but I didn't think that S1 telegraphed the plot as much as this season. S1 felt much more unpredictable - I may be wrong though as I've not watched it since the year it aired.

when they started focusing on Conte's relationship with the tranny I knew he was gonna get got at the end of the ep. Same with ep 7 when Prince was the focus - knew he'd be a goner by the end. I was hoping they would flip the script when he told Don P he was working with Genny but it's a shame cause I think Prince would've been a good character to keep around. Was probably my second favourite character after Genny this season - fukk all the other shyt, them nikkas just about the money.

fukk Ciro - I hope someone gets his ass by the end of season. The show thinks its slick by focusing on his relationship with his daughter but I ain't forgot all the fukk shyt this nikka did

And fukk Trak too - the way they took over Malamores block was boss though

True but if that was the case my thing is he shouldn't have ran upon that nikka in his hotel room. As much as I hate Ciro, that nikka is smart, conniving and calculating and he ain't the type of nikka to forget that. The very fact Genny caught him slipping is most likely still fukking with him. Looks like the show trying to make sympathy for Ciro While it was I'm glad they didn't drag out the drama with his wife. Could have had a Skylar White situation in our hands. Acting scared, crazy, and threatening to talk to popo. She had to go.

If the show is going for another season it may be Ciro vs Trak vs Genny. I'm pretty sure this is Don Pietro's last season. Calling it now that Malammore might even switch to Genny's side.

Looool - yeah these old nikkas are fukking up something serious. To be fair I think they are focussing on Ciro - Don P has said to Patrizia and I think Genny a couple of times it burns him that the dude who snaked him/killed his wife is on road. I think the reason they didn't put the hit on Ciro first and focused on Prince was because the Alliance was heavily dependent on Prince because he was a wizard with chemistry and making everyone money. By taking him out the cracks start to appear and they weren't looking to just take out Ciro - they wanted to take our everyone and be the dominant force. Then Prince beefing with Dwarf was a bonus cause they could hit prince without people suspecting them. But as you said these old nikkas ain't playing the game right - it seems like they have the right hand but they're playing it wrong. Some of their moves have me like

They just stuck in their ways but these younger cats are showing them how it's done

I see what you mean. I think there's potential in him, he has his two homies to keep him balanced. We don't see much of Bomber and Bird but they might be the real thinkers. Takes some thinking to charm a block of brehs and systematically give the boot to a seasoned mafioso like Malammore with just one gun and become boss but then again Malammore and Don Pietro been look this season. shyt had me anyway and I always like a good come up story. Kind of hope they stick around
