Yoooooo I remember watching this trailer awhile ago like this could be a dope movie. Now since you are consigning it I will watch.

I know 500 Days Of Summer is a totally different movie, situation and is regarded as one of the best movies dealing with relationships from our perspective but could this movie overthrow it as far as the ultimate learning experience?

i had no idea what was 500 days of summer.
so, i will take your recommendation and watch that.

I read the book and it had me kinda twisted, most people (regardless of gender) felt this way about the plot twists too. I bought all 3 of the author's books as a set but am now hesitant to read the other two. I have to be prepared for my mind to enter a dark place.

The real message of Gone Girl should be: Get married to genius, entitled, trust-fund women, brehs.

He ends up staying with her after she tried to frame him for her murder. She makes it look as though an ex that was obsessed with her kidnapped her and she escaped. In reality she played on the ex's love/obsession with her and killed him.

500 Days Of Summer is prob a lightweight compared to those movies, nonetheless the ether and message in the movie still holds value and on its own. Id prob watch what dude suggested first then 500 depending on if you want a more "raw" movie to watch first.

The reason why she became so good at evil scheming is because of how her parents raised and enabled her and how she got to practice on smaller victims in high school. The resources she had access to and the false reputation she could exercise to keep the facade going couldn't be afforded to someone of another identity while growing up. She knew it would only work if she was the well-adored and white "Amazing Amy" But maybe that wasn't explained in the movie like it was in the book (I have yet to watch the movie).

blue valentine is darker/more straight laced drama

I'd watch blue velvet first
then 500 days of summer to lighten the mood
