do you have a carved case? $30-$50 is awful pricey for a phone case. if so, hows the quality on those joints?

It's not too bad when you consider that you're protecting a $700+ device. I usually grab a Spigen or Ballistic Impact for around $15, but I wanted to try something different.
Yeah I have one. I got it for somewhere between $25-30 if I'm not mistaken. The quality is great. When I first ordered my iPhone I bought his case. Then I saw some big sales and got 2 cases from Amazon (on sale marked down to $3-4). I figured if I didn't like this one I would never have my phone naked. Turns out this one is way better than those quality wise and you can definitely tell the difference.
I expected a heavier case with more wood on the back though. At first glance it almost looks like a veneer but not shoddy like a cheap one. You'd have to apply some real pressure to separate it from the body of the case.
My favorite part is the ridges on the side. It makes the phone much easier to grip.
My only complaint is that the charging opening isn't huge, so it fits cables with thin charging ends like the OEM Apple cable fine, but monoprice cables with bigger ends don't go in all the way.
All in all I'd definitely buy it again.

I bought a $10 wood case off amazon. it looks dope, but that shyt don't protect the glass.
