I never really payed much attention to Mavs last season, but I really did not know Luka was this bad on defense. He is getting blown by every possession, and this shyt is crazy to watch. I thought Reaves was bad but Luka is much worse. Top 5 offensive player when he get's it going by Bottom 5 defensive player .

Pelinka gotta fill this roster with some amazing two-way players if Luka is gonna stay in LA

I would’ve probably agreed before they got to this point. Ideally, this should’ve been the game where you talking about playing your starters damn near wire to wire.

I get the idea of trying those guys just to give the starters a break and get a different look. I just can’t envision a scenario in my head where that different look is a positive

Reaves is kinda just challenged physically, like Steph. Luka doesn’t even try sometimes and is often out of place. It doesn’t take much to at least follow the defensive scheme.
