Not only were the horse rides long as fukk, you couldn’t build momentum on your horse for fear of colliding into shyt. You had to keep slowing down and changing course. At least Roach from The Witcher 3 was indestructible and never crashed into anything, could slide down hills, etc

you can fast travel. I’m on chapter 5 and just learning it tho lol

AC: Odyssey fits this thread for sure. It's a fun game to play and great all around but the combination of a Map with multiple large islands sprawled all over the place with so many collectables, missions, side quests, etc gets overwhelming after about 30-40hrs in. Even as you progress and have a pretty strong character, you're still looking at a mountain of quests in your log and hundreds of map markers all over the place

That game is actually pretty short if you skip optional shyt. Most spent 48 hours just complete side quests and forts and talking bout how long is this compaign. breh you only did like 5 hours of actual compaign play.

Witcher 3 and Red dead 2 are the correct answer. You can skip every sidequest and cutscene and still do 70 hours
