This is in my top 10 albums ever. Still sounds as fresh as it did in 2012. From the dope story telling on Sherane to the catchy hook of Money Trees to the crazy beat transition on m.A.A.d City there are too many great moments on this album to post. :wow:

Rap Genius just put out this featurette several days ago:

Much will be written this week about Kendrick Lamar’s 'good kid, m.A.A.d. city,' which celebrates its five year anniversary on Oct. 22. The album first proved that the TDE rapper could bring his unique brand of conscious Compton hip-hop to the mainstream. From its effect on his career to its influence on a range of artists, there’s a lot to be said. To celebrate 'good kid, m.A.A.d. city’s five-year anniversary, Genius put together a video on the music influenced by the album.

Probably my favorite album from him. It’s between this or Section 80. I need to revisit this one again.
