Similar to his colleague Brianna Keilar, he was universally shytted on for posting the most expensive gas station in the city, when the average gas prices in the city were considerably lower (though still pretty high):

There only two places where the prices are that high in DC. That station in union station and the BP in Georgetown.
Those places always have gas that is a dollar higher than the average price.
When I tell you that Capital Hill media has no idea what’s going on around the country, that tweet is the perfect demonstration of that.

I don't know at what point editors and supervisors started being OK with shyt like this, but I can't even fathom trying to submit a story for print where I didn't even bother trying to interview a single person from the group of people that are the fukking subject of the story. My professors and editors would have made it known in the most polite way possible that I'm incompetent and should be ashamed to even speak in their presence.

in orlando there is this one gas station near the airport that use to have ridiculous prices ... i mean like $2 above the average. no one who wasn't disingenuous would use that station as a reflection of gas prices in orlando.
