At the end of the day, discography is all that matters.
How you reach the point of a classic discography is another question.
Some people like Dr. Dre who can't write a rap at all, or a Kanye West/ATCQ who are good but not elite lyricists, Nas and Jay who are elite lyricists.. I really doesn't matter for me, if you can make good music you can make good music. It's a whole lot more impressive if you write it yourself though (Dre).

On average, bars are for children. Listeners who need shyt spelled out for them or they wouldn't get it.
