Good restuarant in Downtown Chicago for parent's anniversary?

My favorite restaurant in Chicago closed as far as I know.
Or I would have suggested : BLUE POINT

It is about the experience and the bar, little nikka.
I lived at signature lounge, capital grill and magnum's.
Signature has the best bar in the city as far as taste and atmosphere.

Gibson's is the place that is overrated.
When, you talk about taste and price point.

Magnum's is the best as far as mainstream feel and high priced/high quality level service and taste.
Best tasting food consistently.
as far a as a chop house and servings.
So, you get the best bang for your buck.

If you want to bring a bottle go to capital grill.

Best bar atmosphere in the city???

Every tourist from the Midwest in there with shopping bags, jean shorts.
Face pressed up against the Windows on top of other people's tables


We must have very different tastes.
Nothing wrong with that, just not sure I would call it the best bar atmosphere

They have a $45 special deal that people usually get but dinner ranges 30-80 a plate. For the special u get soup or salad, really good steak, 1 side & desert
