This would be a very unceremonious end to his career. Struggling to make the playoffs then having a season ending injury then retiring? Kinda sad actually. A legend like him should go out on high note. That's why everyone try's to erase the wizards era from Jordan's history.

But when he had Nash at 34, he was playing 33 min/game. People wondered why Phil was limiting Kobe's minutes, this is why. He understands that Kobe would play every minute if didn't take him off the floor. This is where as a coach and some of the burden goes on the veterans to bring younger players like Meeks along. Its sad to say, but Kobe wore himself down more, by not using his teammates more...he was trying to do too much. Pringles did not have the guts to tell Kobe to take it easy or to control his minutes.
