I don't think we need a shorter season, Drose was 23 years old, played 40 games and was injured constantly in a 66 game season.. 82 games had nothing to do with his problems.

Kobe is 35 years old, went hard as fukk in every single game to try to motivate his uninspired teammates. Players are not supposed to go that hard, not a lot of players do, specially considering this being his 17th year. This only proved that Kobe his human, this is the consequence of playing with minor injuries and shyt for 5 years.
