the Lakers had Bynum with Kobe and Gasol, two hall of famers, and they barely snuck past Denver
Bynum is not some dynamic force that changes games
He won rings with them too, though, with significant contribution. Lets not act like hes a scrub.
Also, Im interested to see if he can BE the focal point offensively. To be fair, hes played with one of the greatest players of all time, who by right dominated the ball and the shots. He aint gotta worry about that no more, now hes going to be the focal point of any half-court set. That may change his whole offensive perspective .well see.

Now Ill totally concede that. If Doug Collins thought that Turners bipolar ass made him tear his hair out, how the hell is he gonna deal with Bynums Ill play when I want to ass?
The only thing that works in the Sixers favor in this regard is that (1) Bynum knows that hes a FA after this season, so he HAS to play well, and more importantly (2) that he has to ACT RIGHT if he wants to get paid in the offseason. Because regardless of whether or not he resigns with the Sixers, if he pouts like a hoe all season hes only going to hurt his OWN stock and reputation amongst teams. Hes gotta grow up, and I hope he knows that. Its for his OWN benefit to do so.
That said, its gonna be hard for him to grow playing for Doug Collins. Theyll be clashing before the end of training camp, its guaranteed.
Anyway, that aside, and assuming he gets his act together .I love the move because now the core of this team is all YOUNG. Jrue, Evan, Thad, Bynum and Nick Young all could potentially be around for awhile. Thats a solid core.
The Sixers also now have three legit seven footers. As stated, Kwame Brown wont do much offensively, but he CAN defend. And thats all he needs to do. Spencer Hawes sorry ass can stand outside like the useless stiff he is and hit that short jumper, draw the 4s and 5s out. And Bynum has already showed what hes capable of, AND hes already used to playing alongside another seven-footer.
They STILL dont have anybody who can consistently score from the outside, though .so unless Turner or Jrue miraculously develop a three-point shot, thats still gonna be a problem. But they should DOMINATE inside in the East, who the hell has the bodies to contend with them?
They could see a #3 seed, no question. Possibly a #2, depending on how things go.

also forgot about Dorel Wright he can flat out shoot too, and so can J Rich we're like a whole new team
I'll remain optimistic... I just think we made TOO many changes on an already developing team.

Josh Smiths a guy I never see play. I know he puts up numbers, but whats his game like? I've just known him for dunking (thats all they ever used to show of him)...kinda went unnoticed out there in ATL
Philly needs to make everyone expendable, and build this time around Bynum. And crazy as it may seem, they should sign AI

I hope that rumor of Hawes playing the 4 is false... He couldnt even stay with KG's old ass, how he supposed to deal with the Kevin Love's and Blake Griffin's out there?

Im not even stressing about this year that much either...I just love it because hes gonna attract people to come here, as long as he stays, which it sounds like theres a good chance
