That question that says 'why do you think you should stay in your job?" was so dope.

His response was 'as I said in my statement, I got it wrong...and we have work to do.....then he deflected to society and how had it is.....and none of these reporters is letting him get away with it.

These reporters are out for blood and I love it.

To be fair, Goodell called them liars about the NFL seeing the tape. AP got insiders everywhere and the fact that the NFL offices got the tape and people saw it makes him look BAD. Let's just say he didn't see it himself.....Sean Payton didn't know what his players were doing regarding Bountgate, but he and the GM were held accountable? What makes accountability different for him?

Why is the Media making the NFL the end all be all on Domestic Violence. Look at the laws, most guys get a slap on the wrist for their 1st offense. But let the media fool you that the NFL can actually do something about the overall problem. I'm still laughing at Budwiser when Alcohol is one of the top causes for Violence and Domestic Violence in the world. I agree that Goodell messed up on the Rice case. Should got got 6-8 games from jump but the Media outrage is fake as sh!t. It's clearly only being done for ratings.
The media enjoys the spectacle, not teaching.

This was supposed to be a PR move to calm shyt down.
Instead, it turned out to be a disaster and Goodell's reputation only got worse... He probably shouldn't have done this press conference.
Also, isn't it amazing how amateurish he looked? A commish stuttering and stalling like that?
David Stern had so much more charisma than this dude:mindblown:
he knows hes in deep shyt. He should have just released a statement saying they are investigating the video incident and is going to see how to punish players that abuse the system, but he fukked up

But I dont agree with this statement.

Does DV happen more frequently in the league than it does elsewhere in America? Because, going off the incidents they provide, it would appear that DV happens far less in the NFL than it does in the country as a whole

They'res a higher rate of dv in the nfl then regular society

I literally started cheering when I heard that shyt. When I heard the reporter preface their statement with "You said ignorance was no excuse..." I was :ooh: :whoo: :damn: :wow: :mjcry:

And for the record, I feel that the media outage should be more toward the Atlantic City prosecutor for not indicting assault changes on Ray Rice and on his wife for still being with him than the commissioner. The NFL should not be forced into stating how domestic violence is treated in this country. That should be on the politicians and the law makers. The NFL can be a platform to speak about the issue but the media wants the NFL to be judge, jury and executioner for every player who is accused of a crime, even if they are innocent. If the Atlantic City courts didn’t want to take Rice to prison for the incident, the NFL has to respect their decision and based their punishment off the court’s decision. Even if a lot of people don’t agree with it. That is my take on this issue.
I agree but its the flip flopping that has gotten the the NFL in this hot mess.

Mark Schlereth is making sense for a rare time. :blessed:

Breh, Schlereth was in RARE FORM during the last labor negotiation. I swear he was gonna get fired. HE WAS GOING IN ON THE NFL! That shyt was classic. The player in him came out and the ESPN Shill went out the window. :laff:

Yup, someone recorded it on their phone as an ace in the hole. And TMZ cut that check.

Let security use cellphones at work brehs....
yea it was bullshiit. thats why i hate tmz. they are all about propaganda and they dont get called out for it.

i cant really blame the nfl for not going to the casino directly. they should have gotten it from the police
