It's a feature on my phones I've ignored but I randomly decided to try it today for the first time ever.
Do you have to unlock your phone to use it? Maybe because I have a Note9 Google Assistant won't do anything unless the phone is unlocked.
I can ask Siri is my front door locked or tell it to turn off the lights or play a song and it does it with a locked phone. Google Assistant just sits at the lock screen. I saw a setting that let's it do stuff but it completely unlocks the phone if you say "Hey Google." Voice unlock doesn't really seem secure.
