theres nothing wrong about running win xp on a desktop either
its a stable system, and while it lacks some features in newer OSs, stability of a system is important to real users of OS, not people who use it only to browse the web and do basic ass shyt.
its the reason desktops will never die. you cant do developing and production on a fukking tablet. you cant play real games on a fukking tablet. you dont have complicated enterprise level software running on a fukking tablet.

desktop is dead to shopping consumers. who buy desk top in 2013?? people are buying tablets. chrome fill the void between a tablets and windows lap top. you can play game on consoles and tablets.

did you heard the rumor of whats going on with the chromebook?? if they add functionality to it like wine its a wrap. plus you can run ubuntu on the chromebook. what will a 250$ windows machine gets you. Touch screen windows 8 better start shipping for 250$ or else i see google taking over like they did with android. HP, samsung, acer and lenovo is already on the wagon. chromebook is already responsible for 30% of acer sales in 2012
google drive is already better than MS. i finished college by relying on google drive
