No more working until you die. Now you can just keep working
I really don't think so to be fair. By 2050, I don't possibly see a way society doesn't fold without basic standard income.

I truly think once AI automates so much of the industry similar to how the internet automated so many jobs. This will be much greater because it's applying the internet into complex problem solving processes.

It's the most reasonable next shift - why worry about labor that gets tired, mentally unhealthy, overworked, needs a life outside of work, etc? The only jobs that will be left IMO is strategy based jobs, creative jobs, and high skill jobs that need human touch

I'm glad these rich Tech people are telling the truth now so when it happens, I don't want to hear any "But we didn't know". They are clearly going for the Skynet takeover and it's happening right now. He's talking about "Transhumanism". This AI push is a lot deeper than people realize. They really want to infuse our Human DNA with Machines. That's why he's talking putting Nano-Tech into our bodies. Musty also talked about putting chips in our brains. They also want to eventually upload our consciousness into an AI Program like "Matrix/Lawnmower Man". Everyone is already jacked/plugged into their phones and the internet 24/7 so they are halfway there. These Tech Bros think they are God but are in for a rude awakening when the machines eventually turn on them and take over. It's all good though, there will be a Human Resistance that will fight back. By 2030? Doubtful, 2050? All bets will be off by then.

GOD already put limits on human life nobody can break a code from the almighty in the future paradise is the only way to get everlasting life not immortality that belongs to Jehovah and his son jesus only.Sounds like foolish athiestic demonic propaganda to me.

You can make life better, diet and exercise goes a long way.

Thats not what Kurzweil (or I) are talking about. When he says 'live longer' hes talking about chemical/gene therapies outside a person's natural capability, not a "healthy lifestyle".

When i say better I mean:
- A robust education system that creates opportunities based on capability, not finance
- A health care system that delivers consistent high quality care regardless of financial capability
- A system where its easier for those without vehicles able to get high quality foods
- A system where the rich see their wealth as an opportunity to lead equitably and responsibly, not as a reason to treat people as resources to facilitate their wealth

These people want “golden ages”

It means slavery of everyone else, so they can mental masturbate all day about hermeticism and do vices. That’s why they love Nietzsche and keep trying to push him through every algorithm

Death is enlightenment and freedom from these people

Immortality won't come biologically, the only way I can see it happening is if we somehow transfer our consciousness into a machine.

Imo you'd no longer be human at that point. :hubie:

Maybe by the year 2100 this might be possible
