Microsoft is just fine. Their ecosystem is almost as extensive as Google's.

Microsoft is like an Mammoth running down the expressway

If they need to change course they'll end up in the river

They are a victim of their own big ass heads & the inertia of the 20th century

Too large to dissappear so they'll eventually drop weight and evolve into the annoying pigeons of the future

Exactly. There were three problems with Google+.

1. By the time it came out in 2011, most common people and businesses had already established themselves in FB. Everyone who wanted a social network were already on FB.

2. The UI looks just horrible. It went through too many changes in a short amount of time.

2. The forced spreading and integrating of G+ into every service was the final nail in the coffin.

I remember wave and buzz. They did flop. Buzz was on the social networking spectrum, and i agree they suck at social networking, and I'll never take them sersiously on that front.

But to make a blanket statement that they consistently flop otherwise is just false.

You do realize there are over 50 projects made in the Google X Lab per year. How many of those projects actually make it out to become mainstream success? Not too many.

They were lucky Gmail and Android managed to become huge.

i didnt mind the UI at first..i thought back when it was new it had a better layout than facebook mobile did at that time..but then they started changing it and now it has a facebook like banner photo

I used to be an early adopter of G+.

Most people who went to G+ are extreme Google fanboys who hate anything FB. They're primarily tech nerds who think "its good for strangers with common interests". I wanted to talk to my friends, not go to another LinkedIn. More than half the users on there are non-American foreigners.

Do you realize what Google Labs is?

They weren't "lucky" that Gmail and android became huge, that's the point of their labs. If you're going to judge them by every idea that comes through their research pod, that's unfair. All these tech companies have labs with side projects and no one expects them all to be successful.

Read up on the apple story and how mac came to be. It was a side project in n apple's labs. Employees were banking in that dead end project until a disgraced Jobs was sent there to keephim busy and he fukked aroundand made it a real product.

Lets be real.. it looks stupid. No matter how functional it is.. It lacks swag. Eye wear is about fashion. It should look futuristic and swagged out. If google had black folks working there things like this would never happen.

Bash a product when it's not even fully developed yet brehs.

Yall are used to the Apple philosophy of seeing the product only in its final functional form. Google's philosoply is simply the opposite. It will take more time before Glass is ready for use.

Why even release it to the market then?

Even if it's in limited quantities, shyt makes no sense to put a trial product out there if it isn't ready. That's what testing is for.
