I used to be a Google Quality Rater (I quit because the sites that I was asked to rate would destroy my computer. I went through 3 computers during that time.)
Every return you get from google for every query is them steering you in another direction...if you don't like it, use bing and STFU.

Google has skewed results in the past based on their political views. Fake news is not always fake. The ones who distribute the news get to decide what's real or not and that leads to censorship, which is very likely in googles case.
