This movie has been getting good early reviews, thus far, and I'm glad to hear it. Movies like The Visit and The Green Inferno are okay around Halloween season, but sometimes you need that fun Ghostbusters/Gremlins/Monster Squad type of movie too.

great movie to take the kids to see....Jack Black was hilarious.....and the plot of the movie was actually pretty good.....if you are looking for a good Halloween family movie I would definitely recommend this one.....Slappy the gawd is not to be fukked with...........

Loved the movie. Was pissed how they made the barking ghost a fukking poodle but was thoroughly surprised on how much I enjoyed this movie.

Didn't see the haunted mask or one of them beast from the east. Those fukking books were my childhood.
