Should’ve been Maya Wiley. Just like 2016 and 2020 should’ve been Bernie. Part of voting is voting in primaries. Everybody should vote on every ballot, local, state and federal including primaries.

Voting blue wasn’t the issue in NYC (or even for the Presidential election). It was the primary where everyone fukked up because nobody takes primaries seriously in this country.

if it was Elizabeth Warren and Kathryn Garcia instead of Biden and Adams we wouldn’t be as disillusioned but old Black people speak with their vote while younger people think talking online about it is somehow an equivalent.

Republicans won the filibustering war years ago. They are just extending those victories at this point.

They can't change the trending demographics or political leanings of America, but they can use the existing rules to diminish the voting power of the other Party.

Going to be challenging times for Black people in the future. I think the shucking and jiving that went/still goes on here in political topics is because of fear and anxiety about that future. People would rather avoid reality by laughing than seeing it for what it is.
