GOP creates more debt in one year than in first 200 years of U.S.

The dems will squander this just like they always do.
i don't think it's about squandering it. the republicans just have a lot of outside institutions that can spend big money to amplify a message. before the 2010 mid terms organizations like chamber of commerce were big in talking about debt, jobs, etc.

Big money is on both sides. Everyone from pundits to senators political analyst etc on the dem side need to hammer this message home.

the big money on the democrats side is just standard donations and $ per plate dinners. in terms of billionaire advocacy on the level of republican donors, george soros and tom steyer are basically it. the rest of the donations are more about giving to the party and candidate and less about them caring deeply about certain issues and putting their money behind that. for example there is one unknown conservative behind the supreme court pac that was running all those ads supporting kavanaugh. and even though someone in the media (a conservative i might add) is the source of this particular talking point, the media isn't going to get behind this all that much because they all benefit from trump's tax cuts and running up debt to give people like them a tax break is a good thing so why complain about it. republicans have structural advantages when it comes to running up debt and it's proven time and time again. two things america seems to tolerate when it comes to debt: tax cuts and war. things they are convinced by others they shouldn't like debt for: stimulus spending.

Nah. The idea of running the government like a business has been one of those Republican ideals from way back.

Trump was the first to take advantage of his New York mogul image to make low-info people think he could.

What does this have to do with my comment?

There’s nothing to squander.

Calling out Trump and Republicans debt spiraling won’t work cause Republican voters think Trump is a good businessman. Dems already knew he was lousy.

Admitting they got conned is beyond them. Even when their factories shutdown because of the tariffs they’ll still vote Republican.

They voted Brownback in again even after everyone realized it was a massive failure.

Its not about the republican voters though its about the independents and that large segment that doesn't vote imo. Clearly about 40% of voters support trump no matter what lol.

By 2029 interest on the debt will be higher than military spending because of the tax bill according the CBO. This means America will be in a debt/currency crisis by the late 2020s. America’s debt is a grave underlying issue if not handled because the next recession is going to worse than 2008 which mean trillions more will be spent. This is not sustainable.
