This is nothing short of a masterful strategy being played by Republicans. If only Dems were this cunning, ruthless, and calculated.

This country is headed in a pretty obvious path. We'll live in country in which the predominant demographic is non-white, but ruled by white men. They will harp of nationalism and rile up their white base with fear, anguish, hostility and deep rooted insecurites about becoming a minority surrouded by hordes of vengeful black and brown people. They will maintain this last vestige of white power through whatever means necessary. Today its voter suppression and gerrymandering. Tomorrow only God knows, but I suspect it will be more sinister and cruel.


Dems are too weak and fragmented to mount any type of defense. Black people (partucularly young black people) are growing more and more jaded with a party thats done little to nothing to improve our lives, but remain the only party that somewhat provides a buffer from the darkest undercurrants of our society. If we had little to no voice then, we REALLY wont have a voice now.

Where black folk going tho? Where those foundational black folk going? This is their home so they have to choice but to fight to save it just to have some measure of equality

The land of America has nothing to do with the institutional system of America. I’m not saying actively tear or disrupt the system, but if it’s falling on its own accord, why help save it? Aren’t we at the bottom here? Why fight to save a system (again different than the land itself) that forces you to be at the bottom?
