According to the New York Times, the majority of college graduates voted for Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election. Don't worry though.......Obama was able to secure the vote of 64% of high school dropouts.

:russ:

That has nothing to do with what I said whatsoever. I did not vote for Obama and I am drinking out of my college republicans coozi as I type this.

You are the worst poster on this site and nothing but a wanna-be Hannity race troll. Please go away. Thanks for showing your face so I can neg you on sight.

Cac

EDIT: Obama won by 13 percent among post graduates. The only people who voted for Romey are white males period. Mitt Romney is one of my role models and it's because of idiots like you that he had to dumb down and rebrand himself.

If you are going to blatantly lie then I am going to call you out.

You said that Republicans are largely uneducated but I simply pointed out that the majority of college graduates (educated) voted for Mitt Romney and the overwhelming majority of high school dropouts (uneducated) voted for Obama.

You are entitled to your own opinions not your own facts.

I gain nothing by explaing to you how you have read those charts incorrectly and have not understood the information presented. You are a race baiting idiot troll. People like you are why republican ideas are going to waste and/or being used to exploit the middle class. Do not quote me Sean Hanity.

Obama won the college educated crowd because people are brainwashed in college to take a blind leap of faith in left-wing ideology.

Having any sort of opinion that is considered "Right-wing" is near death sentence in an academic field.

Even something like Biological determinism... how is that even politically charged? Yet, somehow if someone even slightly believes in evolutionary psychology, bio determinism or even mention that darwinism also applies to humans, then they are also a "Radical" Right-wing nutjob.

Anyone who even covertly implies that they slight believe in a the above mention ideas are treated like 15th century heretics. It doesn't matter how much science backs up their argument.

The same could be said of anyone who believes that market economies are good for society.

And guess what....if someone didn't vote for Obama, it's automatically assumed that it's because that someone is a racist. So i'd imagine that there is a lot of pressure on people to conform.

Attacks on Bruce lahn

The accuracy of Dr. Lahn's work and his views on race came up in his tenure review last fall,
says a person familiar with it. After debate, his department voted unanimously in his favor, according to another faculty member. A more senior committee agreed and awarded Dr. Lahn the post of full professor, although it wasn't unanimous, this person says.

Dr. Lahn stands by his work but says that because of the controversy he is moving into other projects. Earlier this year, Mr. Easton of the university's media department forwarded Dr. Lahn a paper by two economists looking at the IQ of infants of different races. Dr. Lahn wasn't interested. "I'm surprised anyone studies this," he replied in an email.

"I think that Bruce doesn't understand political correctness," Dr. Harpending says. Dr. Lahn says he only vaguely recalls the conversation but confirms that he wonders whether during China's imperial times there was "some selection" against rebellious individuals.

Attacks on Steve Hsu

headshot.png

Shortly after the start of classes this fall, Daniel HoSang, a professor of political science and ethnic studies at the University of Oregon, sent an email to a handful of faculty. Hsu, he wrote, “has taken a keen personal and professional interest in projects with strong Eugenicist overtones.” Because of Hsu’s position of authority at MSU, he said, he felt compelled to warn them.

His concerns were equally about positions Hsu had taken in his blog five years ago: that race is “clearly” a valid biological concept, that whether there are more-than-superficial differences between groups (in areas such as cognitive ability, personality and athletic prowess) is an open question.

Attacks on Robert Polmin

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/e...ld-talks-with-iq-genes-professor-8876500.html

The research is contentious because ministers and educationalists have long believed that any child, from whatever background, can achieve the highest academic ability.

In his document, leaked to The Guardian, Mr Cummings cited at length research by Professor Plomin, including the studies showing up to 70 per cent of a child's performance is genetically derived. Mr Cummings said: "There is strong resistance across the political spectrum to accepting scientific evidence on genetics. Most of those that now dominate discussions on issues such as social mobility entirely ignore genetics and therefore their arguments are at best misleading and often worthless."

You guys need to separate "voting for obama" with being a member of the democratic party. Most educated/intelligent republicans are people like @DEAD7 who live in like california (correct me).

All that matters is that the education level of republicans in RED STATES is very low.The education in red states overall is very low.

I am a republican and would never vote for someone like Obama but to act like the modern GOP panders to intelligent people is ridiculous. The Only thing they do is fear monger. This is why Rand Paul > the GOP establishment.

I'd really love to know why you're a Republican. I have one female black friend that is a Republican and I can understand her in the old school way of thought though we disagree. But calling Mitt Romney one of your heroes is crazy to me. Mitt Romney is a dikkhead and anyone who has been around him knows that (and I've been around him).

So we're good with eugenics now?

I'd have to go dig them up but I remember seeing TONS of fellow professors refute the work of these gentlemen.

Even Jindal admitted the GOP is going to have to change its anti-science, anti-academia stances. Three guys who basically argue that black people are inherently inferior doesn't change that point. Rejecting racism draped in a few statistics doesn't equate to rejecting academic pursuits.
