Maybe or maybe not. But it's irrelevant because not all franchises are in the same situations or have the same needs. If a franchise is willing to give a player an amount of money (even if no other will offer as much), then that's his worth because teams are the ones deciding on a player's worth.

Value is relative, besides Dragic shoots 50% from the field avg around 16-17 pts a game, I'm a Rondo fan but you weren't getting that with him. The Heat need a consistent scorer at the point.

his game should age pretty gracefully..hes athletic but he gets by more-so on craftiness. he may technically be overpaid by the end of his contract but barring injury he will still be productive.

Best PG miami has had in a long time, helps run and create the offense and score taking pressure off wade, can shoot really well so he can space the floor for wade, and he's always been one of the most underrated players in the league
This is overpaying but I think inflation has something to do with it also. This is a good move for miami
