I could be wrong but I thought it was reported that he did not tear any ligaments because it was a clean break. I’m not a medical expert so I have no clue, but I could of sworn our local play-by-play guy reported it.
Yeah, he just broke his tibia and dislocated his ankle.

The problem with Hayward is that he gonna have to figure out how to run since he messed up his ankle. I have no doubts he can come back and play this year, but he will be a different player now because of the ankle. But the broken bone should be healed by now.

Celtics balling a little to hard without him huh :hubie:

Nothing makes you want to come back from an injury faster than when two guys much younger and cheaper than you are playing almost as well as you have ever played AND you just signed a max contract :hubie:

Always good to see a player being able to recover from brutal injuries. Broken ankles and legs are much easier to come back from than torn ACLs. He'll likely be back to his old self next season, though I wouldn't count on him returning this year

if he can give them 15-20 mins off the bench come April...that would be fun

I won't even bother trying to rush back. The Cavs are going to beat them in the playoffs.

It seems the ligament damage was light if he is walking around and strengthening right now.
