its not as bad as when they remix secular music :beli:

yea, this is the training ground. This industry has put so many people out & trained them for secular music its unreal. This is how we learned jazz & hooks, and bass lines

Gospel singers are people who tried to cross over and failed :heh:

:usure:

The pure talent on the stage is astronomical. :ohlawd: Most secular singers would be scared to step on the stage with these women...they'd get destroyed. I know for a fact this lady & Shawn Pace have been asked to 'crossover' many times but they have refused. Karen Clark was even mentioned/asked to do the Aretha Franklin movie but she was worried about direction of the film conflicting with her beliefs.

Just LISTEN TO THIS when you get time. even for an atheist you can't deny the artistry and ability. Just tune out the message if you have to and listen to the tone, technical ability and discipline of the musicianship. Its unreal :wow:

that upbeat effect of the piano adds a hop & solid foundation
the Pocket is so tight between and the drums & bass :scusthov:
the trumpets add that pizazz while the harmony is just clean & sharp in their attacks and releases. just a overall crisp song.
