Ryan Gosling Will Become THE WOLFMAN
Thread title says it all
Okay Universal damn
So is Universal rebooting that Dark Universe they were trying to start up?
Yes and no. Yes in the sense they’re doing the characters over. No in the sense they’re not branding it or asking for all filmmakers to build to one thing. Just letting them make movies
They are continuing with the universe but not everything is explicitly connected.
Cool. I'll peep. I actually just watched the 2010 Wolfman with Benicio and Hopkins last weekend. The movie should've been so much better than it was.
Ryan Gosling is one of the last actors I'd have guessed would do something like this
*ejaculates on my universal wolfman Blu-ray*
Is this going to be an allegory for repressed sexuality or lack of mental health funding?
Except the thread title misspells the GOAT name.
According to Deadline:
Universal forthcoming monster movie canon includes Elizabeth Banks’ Invisible Woman, Paul Feig’s Dark Army, Dexter Fletcher’s Renfield, and Karyn Kusama’s Dracula.
For the record, the Invisible Woman film was pitched by Banks separately from Leigh Whanell's The Invisible Man, although it may be altered in production to accommodate The Invisible Man since it was so successful.
Can't wait to see who plays Frankenstein's Monster
Is the invisible man (still haven't seen it) included in this canon?
No canon anymore. Universal still making the monster movies but no longer seem to have plans to make it part of a bigger universe.
