You going to struggle with the work flow ...mashcines work flow is as smooth as FL studio which is were I came from. The MK3 that I have is what FL studio should have made for its DAW. Take it from somebody that just got back into production
When I travel I plan on getting an I pad pro and get the MPC app or Beatmaker . I heard madlib uses the MPC app hell he mad most of Freddie Gibbs lasted album on an iPAD ....
It's pretty ease with machine and native instruments just have to develop an ear ....

Was thinking about copping the mk3 but my dude gave me his Ren which is damn near New for free
Damn I was thinking this joint was the Maschine but a little different
workflow isn't bad it's just you have to unlearn maschine workflow. once you get it it's rewarding. don't worry you did great getting the ren, let's not forget it's still an MPC and a damn good one

Just invest in a mashcine mk3 I know they go some used ones online
