Got a new vehicle. Picked up a 2009 Porsche Cayman.

Yep but their engines (for the most part) are bullet proof.

It's just everything that surrounds it that can be a $$$$$ big problem sometimes

Not a fan of the rear but congrats.

The rear is not it's strong suit. I'll admit that. They did a much better job on the second gen 981 Cayman. However you can spruce up the rear if you don't mind going aggressive which I am planning on doing anyway. Wings balance them out. Most of them have a nice ducktail style base that it attaches to. I was all about the Techart GT wing(GT2 style) but now I am in love with GT3 wings on Caymans. They have the (911)997.2 GT3 and also the (911)997.2 GT3 RS wing. If there is one car where a big wing belongs is a Porsche. They even have a GT4 style wing coming out for the older 987.

Why would i be jealous..Ive been driving European SUVs since i got my money up in 06...I considered the cayenne when trading in my range but i went with this instead

The interior of the 911 and the Cayman/Boxster are exactly the same. the difference is the amount of seat travel due to the mid engine design. The cayman can't lean it's seat back as far, but unless you trying to sleep you shouldn't be driving a sports car like that anyway. I am 5'8" but my girlfriend Dad is 6'2" and he fit inside of it fine. He was all amazed because he said it was really easy to get into the car and out of it. Read this thread on tall people fitting inside it fine. Tall 6'5"-250lb and feel confy in the Cayman. WOW! - Page 2

Also a lot of people sit too far away from the steering wheel. Some people think they need more room, when actually it's easily fixed.
