A lot of misinformation in this thread

I just got my first speeding ticket in march
I submitted the ticket for a court hearing and If you haven't had a ticket in over 2 years always go to court the judge will drop all the points and reduce the fine if your not an a$$hole.
Paying the fine says to the insurance and court and dmv system that your saying fukk it you don't care
Before court
1. Be polite during the stop you want to be unremembered and not recognizable as much possible the judge at my hearing asked every cop was the person polite.
2.
Delay the court date.
(the first scheduled always is a day where they have all the cops in a district show up)(delayed court dates often are on off days or vacation days and the cop will be more likely to forget)
3.
Dress like you would if you were going to your grandmas church. I would wear black pants a white button down shirt and a blue tie No reds or fitted clothing especially if you have muscles you don't want to be looking like your making a fashion statement women should dress accordingly too no t*ts or ass out.
nikkas show up to court in sweats and jeans still to this day smh... I was shell shocked at how some nikkas dressed in court.
4.
Take the course you need to drop the points online
beforehand on your own time. This is what I did The judge kissed my ass and was impressed by this.
5.
Record the court date multiple places and leave alarms in your phone the week day before and day of. I'd say 50% of people missed their court date when I had mine

. Come to court 2 hours early don't bump your music coming in leave your phone in the car have all your documents ready and don't curse or talk shyt about your cops etc alot of cops and judges DAs wear dress clothes hang out in the lobby and parking lot and they gossip like high school bytches.
6. Consider getting a
traffic lawyers they are often only $100 I had the same cop as 4 other people he was the last cop to testify. I went first the person after me had a lawyer and asked when did he get his radar gun calibrated last the cop said 18 months the lawyer informed the judge its 12 months required by law he got his case dismissed and the cop walked out red faced the other two were saved.
During court
1.
Say your honor after every sentence exchanged with the judge.
Never cut off the judge or cop. Some won't care because they know you aren't familiar with court but some will fukk you in the ass even if you say sir or mam or if you say nothing.
And I saw this butch bytch cop cut off a defendant during his testimony and the
judge yelled at the cop and dismissed the case.

Speak very carefully and with respect.
2. IF THE cop is there and your red handed guilty ask for probation before judgement or traffic school.
I wouldn't recommend pleading not guilty
unless two things you have a lawyer or your cop doesn't show up. Even if you aren't guilty. Unless there is evidence ask for a plea.
Even if your not guilty its your word vs the cops and these cops and DA's babysit each others kids, drink together at the bars, work out together etc. Your nothing but some a$$hole off the street to them.
3. Don't look mad, like you have an attitude, too scared, or too confident/arrogant. Look humble and attentive like a student in his/her first class.
4. Mention how the cop was polite and prompt during the citation. My judge smiled when they heard this.
5. Have your full fine money on deck. Often the probation before judgement plea requires you pay immediately.
6. Even if the judge is favoring you keep a neutral face and don't smile or smirk if the cop or judge is showing you attitude don't show attitude on the face either.
6. Don't speed or do rolling stops outside of the court I saw someone pulled over on the way out and a different person pulled over on the way in.
7. Keep your hands out your pocket, keep your cell phone in the car they will fukk you in the ass with your judgment if it goes off and confiscate it indefinitely
With INSURANCE
Everyone that received the probation before judgement guilty plead got no points
Insurance companies increase your insurance off of
points points points points points not just getting written up you can get a speeding ticket for 200 mph and be guility but if you have no points added your insurance it is the same as getting it dismissed.
All it is a computer that checks the DMV record to see if you have points added or not
WITH FINES
The judge decreased it for everyone that came and
included the court cost in it for people with no recent tickets
i got my 210 dollar ticket for going 21 over reduced to 25$, online traffic school(which I already completed), and no insurance points with the guilty (probation before judgement plea)
