Got a warning on Friday. If I smell like alcohol one more time, I'm getting canned

shyt sucks cause I never drink on the job. I'm 100% sober on my shift, but I drink a 5th a night so the next morning I still smell like alcohol. I've been doing this since I was 19 and now it's like an issue with this company. Why does it matter if I do an immaculate job, make the company BANDS, but I just smell like booze? The job is being done and money is being made what sucks even more is that every morning I put on clear eyes, drench myself in expensive cologne, I fabreeze my clothes every morning, and I rinse with mouthwash after I brush. How the fukk do I still smell like booze?

Yea my girl was telling me that but some nights I'll start drinking straight when my shift is done at around 6, start drinking at 6:30 and blackout around 8:30. That shyt can't stay in your system for that long til 10 am. I think someone snitching on me that I thought it was "cool"

Trust me dog, I tried doing that but my body just ain't gonna catch a buzz with a couple beers. I have to drink the hard stuff. And way too many empty calories with beer

The only thing keeping me going is the fact that...NO.. Drinking isn't worth me losing my job. shyts just hard to stop doin something you've been doing for over 15 years

What kind of job do you work at? Maybe it disturbs customers and is perceived as unprofessional.

Why do you need to drink everyday though? It's bad for your body, can become an addiction if it already isn't, waste of money etc.
