Those cars were just examples. early 2000's high mileage BMW 5 series, Mercedes-Benz E-class, Lexus GS, and Audi TT coupe.

Really, stay away from all of them all unless you are a grease monkey/do-it-yourself mechanic. The Audi TT coupe is nice, looks wise, but it's a 4 cylinder turbo with high miles, so it probably needs an engine rebuild soon. Sometimes, you can find an older car where the owner kept the interior nice and clean, even though it has high mileage. Find and get one of those. It was probably garage kept, because the leather isn't cracking from sun exposure, so the paint isn't going to be worn out too.
