Yea I’ve been working warehouse jobs and kitchen jobs so no one cared about my face tats.. I ain’t see myself doing sum different when I got em during a manic episode.

Got accepted into nursing school today( A BSN program.) it wasn’t my first choice but dey will pay ur tuition if you agree to work with them for 18 months but u may have to be an employee. I’ve been working harder den my first time in college at the university of Georgia to make all As n Bs.

I only got 2 problems

1. They do a baccground Checc before nursing school and I have a felony.. I sent my expungement paperwork to Georgia a few weeks ago hopefully it can be expunged by the time I gotta do a baccground Checc.

2. I have 4 small face tattoos that I’ve actually like having. Nobody cares in classes but when I get around patients they might not like seeing a nikka wit a cross and tear drops on his face. So ima learn how to put on make up soon.

But either way I’m happy !! A nikka been working hard.

I mean no offense but warehouse and kitchen jobs are not comparable to working as a nurse in a medical facility, hospital, or office. It's a professional setting where your personal conduct is documented and appearance is noted.

I actually want to be a psychaitric nurse and deal with folks having mental health issues. But last time I was in the psyc ward one charge nurse actually told me with my felony I couln't work in psyc but I could work in the ER.

Yeen understanding what I'm saying? I never said it was comparable. I know they're not tolerated in professional settings which is why I said I will cover them or get em removed. I said when I worked in kitchen or warehouse jobs dey aint care.
