Even if I didn't notice being called a suspect, cameras are on me at all times and you wouldn't realize that cause you haven't walked in a black mans shoes a day in your life.

Im in the joint getting some facial scrub (hygene thread got me feeling godly ) when I hear a woman speaking in a walkie calling me a suspect..im sitting in the aisle with the face thinking she isn't talking about me. I turn around and its a dime redbone in the opposite aise crouching like she's on some metal gear shyt. Then of course I noticed two supervisors follow me all the way to the register. I was so disappointed..i had a nice tie with the peanut butter gators on too.. I aint gone lie , it kinda hurt.


I spent 10 mins in there just to get profiled by my own kind. I coulda ended up a hastag from some rogue thug security officer .

why you buy anything? i would look at the chick and point blank ask the fukk you doing? i would have pulled my phone out started recording myself getting harassed for no reason and posted that shyt on target's facebook page and then slid out that bytch in my in peanut and jelly gators..

This world is just as disrespectful to black women as it is to black men. Black women get followed around, disrespected day and night, roughed up by police as well. Black women were working the fields alongside of black men. Black women were lynched just the same as men. So I don't even want to hear that men vs. women schtick. We are in this together. There is no reward for being the most oppressed.

I guess it comes down how you were raised. I wasn't raised to accept blatant disrespect as normal. It's not about being a freedom fighter to me, it's about common sense. Money does not grow on trees. Nothing I need is that important that I am going to hand over hard earned cash to prove something to people who are beneath me.

I didn't advocate getting in anyone's face or throwing anything, I advocated having some pride. Putting the stuff back and walking off does not validate anything except that you view yourself as a decent human being who was not put on earth to be disrespected.

How can you anyone expect to make great changes if they can't even deal with small inconveniences? That's one big issue with black men and black women, some of us are too comfortable and too cowardly to give up small conveniences for greater good.

It must have been mighty inconvenient to walk miles and miles to and from work instead of taking the bus, but people endured it for over a year. They had dignity. And now today you are telling me its too inconvenient to walk out of a doggone store? Good luck to us all.

Once I was in a grocery store and I had a kitten in my shirt, I was holding it and just looking around. I didn't get anything but when I walked out some security bytch and her overweight supervisor stopped me at the door. She walked out in front of me and was like "what's in your shirt?" and her dude was positioned behind me like he was gonna take me down. She put her hand to my shirt and was like "What's that" . . and I'm looking at her like she's stupid before I just said it's a kitten and I lifted up my shirt in an awkward way that made her have to like look down the neck of my shirt from a weird angle to verify.

Next time that happens and you have the time...troll them mercilessly....Grab item from different ends of the store, fill up the basket all the way... Get to the register, than say "I changed my mind"..followed by a george jefferson stroll out....
