If you’re reaching out to a new or lapsed fanbase you gotta present stars or action. Preferably both. Angelo Dawkins and Chad Gable? No.

Nobody would've cared if they brought in their so-called bigger stars. They would've got the same reaction.

The point was for them to highlight black smackdown wrestlers at a hip-hop festival. It's that simple. I don't think they got the memo ahead of time, that it was gonna be a sea of white people, tho.

Only thing they did wrong was, they could've put something out there that could oohh and ahhh the crowd.

To play devil's advocate, it was outside (no dome for the sound to bounce off of) & people unfamiliar with wrestling that were further back couldn't see shıt so they had nothing to react to especially since there was no screen to display the show.
