Got denied for an apartment because I didn't make 3x rent

Actual income is HIGHER than 3x rent but its not all in my bank account

Breh just started investing in stocks

Savings account is decent

Rent is only 16 dollars more than current rent at "former" apartment (before the renewal price)

nikka if you did make 3x your rent they woulda denied you because you didn't have enough in your savings. Or you got a B in 9th grade algebra. Or you wore white shoes on the apartment black shoe day. Or whatever fukking excuse they could think of to keep your black ass out that complex.

The fukk would i lie about?

Said that my OT doesn't count as income and only on an hourly basis, i was short. Asked for bank statements for additonal income but said they weren't consistent (additional income)

If you have a stock portfolio or just an account with a brokerage, why can't you use that combined with your bank statement? Wouldn't that be enough?
