COVID gave me type 2 diabetes

Here’s is when I came back from the doctor with one of the highest blood sugar level she witnessed. I was scared and didn’t know anything. Now knowing what I know and reversing it. I’m looking back like lol

I have a meter at home and I do get my A1c check up every 3 months to make sure I’m normal. Yes I’m gonna monitor it for the rest of my life but most doctors are still given patients outdated advice that will make sure they never improve. My doctor after 3 months asked me “how did u do it?” And to keep doing whatever am doing after giving me the same generic suggestion during the beginning.

thanks I had a prediabetic a1c and the doctor told me it can all be reversed. Glad I have a doctor who doesn’t have the outdated mindset.
