Taking a DNA test to find how much "cac" is in you is being self secure in your own race?
Seems the opposite to me, it seems sad that this is so heavily tied into some people's identities that they react like some of the people in this thread.
(Not the ones interested in finding out about their african lineage to research their heritage)

1-No, it isn't. A lot of people may say it is, but a lot of those people don't understand the science/methods behind it and don't care to. Or just don't like/understand the results they see.

2-I would say for your case, the best bang for your buck is 23andme. Their autosomal test has a SEA category and are pretty good at detecting Native American ancestry as well. They also give both paternal and maternal haplogroups. You can also scope out "predicted" relatives. You get all of this for $99.

It can only determine what country you come from. You would have to go into that country because some Africans can look at your features and tell you what tribe you come from. I've heard this a few times . Earlier this year I was talking to a man from the Congo and he said it was true . He also said even if you're bi racial they can still tell your tribe. So I was stoked . Trying to get money and go to Africa to see what tribe and get my tribal tats
