Ancestry.com dna test because it was the cheapest and it had better African estimates.

DNA is pretty damn accurate. I found out about a 6th cousin through my DNA results. She and I have a common ancestor; my great-great grandfather is her great-great-great grandfather. He had two daughters that were sisters. One of the daughters is my great grandmother the other daughter was my cousin's great-great grandmother.

The DNA stated that my cousin would be in the 5th-8th cousin range. When we looked at our family trees I learned that she is actually my 6th cousin. The craziest part is that I checked with my older sisters and brothers and they actually know of that side of the family and they still keep in touch.

That's crazy. Got me rubbing my chin hairs now.

Anybody who's been to Africa knows this is BS. I'm pure African. I've got a large extended family and our complexion is all over the place.
