I've jacked my back up doing deadlifts and twisting my body pulling big bags of ice out the back seat of a car...Laying in bed will tighten up your back more and make the situation worse...Try to move around as much as possible even if it's just inside your home

Once you get right it'll be time to invest in a solid back brace, heating pad and foam roller with pressure points and a metal pipe inside it.
