I stopped seeing a therapist when I realized everything they're telling me I could google my damn self. Not worth the cash

Ok I see your point. BTW I emphasised good because It isn't always the clients fault, sometimes the therapist just sucks

Yea I've been there OP. I started taking antidepressants (Wellbutrin) in October and it has helped tremendously. I won't front tho, them side effects (anxiety and bad headaches) the first week were hell on a brother. After I got past that tho, they have definitely kept my depression at bay. I didn't realize just how depressed I was until I started taking medicine. I am going off of it next month and hopefully I will not have the need for it again, but if I do, I will be much less hesitant to get on this time.

It's probably placebo right now tbh but it's always good to have hope. Make sure you keep a daily journal of how you feel that way when you follow up with doctor you have a record of what was going on with you.

Look I understand these pills are SUPPOSED to take long. But it didn't for me. I forgot I even took the pill then 3 hours later I get hit with this euphoria. It wasn't light either. I literally wasn't sure I could drive home. I know when there's something going on in my body

I called the doctor when it first hit me because I was nervous.. It was like a high at first so I thought maybe it coulda been a problem but he said its uncommon but it happens. He said that feeling probably won't happen like that anymore and it was just my body taking in the chemical the first time

Lexapro 10mg

You might be an outliner to experience the effects early but like the one poster said keep a journal log of your day to day feelings. Don't stop taking it abruptly. Watch the foods you eat because this medicine is notorious for food drug interactions. Always inform your doctor of abnormal behavior and suicidal thoughts asap. Be strong.
