I'm stuck watching the Nationals broadcast, but I imagine Keith was probably salty about Pete's throw to first base; I've heard him numerous times getting on him about those throws.

A win is a win. That mess was entirely on Stanek.
Even if he's saying this just to make Pete feel better, he did have a reputation for getting injured in the NPB.

Stearns looking real intelligent stockpiling these arms. We got Manaea coming back soon, already got Blackburn ready to go, and Montas (even though he's been beat up in the minors). Not many teams that could absorb a loss like this.
