Yes, but the West has often destabilized their countries and installed puppet leaders to help them steal resources. These leaders terrorize and rob their own people, causing them to flee. The West is pretty good to it's own people but psychopathic to others; particularly nonwhites.

If western powers lack credibility to be talking about human rights then which world power currently has that credibility?
Can you let us know?
No country is perfect but I would rather alight with countries that push for freedom of speech, press, religion etc... than some authoritarian shythole no matter how hypocritical it is. China will laugh at you in the face if you talk about human rights.
