The Ummah!
So I guess you're waiting for a khalifa before they take on Israel? :mjlol:
Like I said in my previous post, forget the fact that Israel has nukes...Most of these Arab states are led by unpopular dictators, in an actual war when bodies of dead soldiers start coming home, most of those governments won't survive. Majority of these dictators are barely hanging on by a thread.
All they will do is go to meetings and release statements. They not ready for war...they benefit more from the stats quo

I actually agree with your take on the dictators and them wanting to maintain the status quo. But you missed my point about arab countries. They're not united. But they dont need to be because they wont attack israel first. Israel will attack them. either 1 by 1. Or all together (just like the war in 67 where israel attacked first) The only thing that unites all the communities living in those countries sunni, shyte, copt, orthodox, catholic, whatever else is they know israel is a threat to them. And my original point was America does not need to sacrifice itself for Israel. Russia and china are huge economic and military threats. And now getting involved in the middle east again is a big mistake. This is the west on the brink of collapse.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The Arabs are not united, thats why I said IF they united. Regardless, if Israel attacks them like they did in 1967 it would not have the same results of being a 5 day war (calling it a 6 day war for religious propaganda like they did back then. :mjlol: ) Israel had intel in 67 those arab nations would not be war ready for another 2 to 3 years so they attacked. Its a different story now. Not saying individually they have the same capabilities as the terrorist state of israhell, but going at all of them when ready will not be easy. And it's definitely not worth risking American lives, or American world dominance for a country like israhell that gives us 0 benefit. We have bases all over the ME. There is no strategic advantage to having a ally like them. In fact it is a burden. But you seem to be a proud Israeli so you may have a different opinion. la chiem :mjpls:

IMO Amerie’s critique of the west is honestly very basic. No country in the world is perfect and she seems to be making her analysis through a lense of idealistic perfection. Every country in the world, and in history, is hypocritical and constantly jockeying for influence. Just look at China and Russia condemning the conflict now lol.

Of course with it being in the midst of the Israel/Gaza conflict gives it some credence but it lacks the depth of someone with a background in geopolitics and International Relations. Her opinion seems to be based on being provocative and social media likes than an actual thoughtful analysis.
No country is perfect you are correct but the critical difference is China and Russia don’t tout themselves as beings the paragons of morality and humanity. Even they acknowledged they are imperialistic by nature.

“If you stick a knife in my back nine inches and pull it out six inches, there's no progress. If you pull it all the way out that's not progress. Progress is healing the wound that the blow made. And America hasn’t even pulled the knife out much less acknowledge the wound" Malcolm-X

Rogers was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, to a Korean mother named Mi Suk and an African American father, Charles Rogers. A few months after she was born, the Rogers family moved to South Korea, where Amerie lived for three years. Her father was a chief warrant officer in the U.S. military,[2] so the family lived in many different places, including Alaska, Texas, Virginia and Germany. She has a younger sister, Angela Rogers,[3] who is now her lawyer.

Amerie has described her parents as conservative, protective, traditional Christians. Growing up, she and her sister were forbidden to leave the house or use the phone on school days. The singer enrolled at Georgetown University to study literature, and was in Navy ROTC: "My dad didn't force me into it or anything. I joined so I could afford an education."

People aren't used to truly cultured people like her anymore.

Instead, everyone is used to the Barstool Sports fart jokes and "get teh W brO" culture today.

It's a shame. That's what happens when you cut funding to our arts and music programs in favor of STEM.

shyt was an L.
Getting more STEM would've been great but it's a net loss because selfish corporations still run the country and do what they want.

That means they'll hire immigrant STEM talent to do the jobs instead because many international STEM school programs now have the same ABET accreditation American universities do, which is a quality curriculum approved by a 3rd party committee. They additionally come here with no student debt and with the same quality of education. Then they'll do it for cheaper.

After cutting all the cultural programs and focusing on STEM we're still not a clear #1:
Many international universities now have ABET accreditation standard:

We basically just got wack culturally to be thrown to the side by corporations anyways. They didn't get the clear blowout results they thought it was going to bring as kids are still struggling in school and other problems have emerged.

I been saying that, but STEM gang determined to create slaves of the workforce.

Yup, I say this as STEM gang and I'm looking at the international competition in the face every single day and see what these companies are doing. We just hired someone from Colombia for example.

Next thing, A.I about to hit.

If this country really cared about American education and American citizens, then it wouldn't let these companies hire immigrants.

We know that isn't going to happen though.

Once those countries caught up to our schools' STEM programs (happened around mid 2010's when ABET started reviewing more International programs), it was a wrap.

Back in the 60s and 70s, art and music peaked in America, and boy, did the entertainment end up being TIMELESS.

Now, STEM is really making everything about CONFORMITY and SOULLESS for profits by a few people.

Exactly. Now our scientists are being rivaled/outclassed/imported and our arts/music programs suck, got exponentially worse or are absolutely non-existant.

Once BILLIONS of people around the world got access to youtube, Khan Academy, MIT OCW, etc. it was a wrap.
They got that high-quality educational access for free, while we cut funding to everything else not knowing free education would blow up like that.

Now ChatGPT/A.I era incoming in the next few years.

Again, IF this country was supposed to be some beacon of hope that protects it's citizens, then this kind of shyt wouldn't be happening in addition to all the bullshyt over the last year that doesn't look like it's slowing down next year:

It's not though, because they care more about the corporations and the money they bring/lobby.

It's like Biden's speech earlier regarding the A.I executive order: all that talk about what they'll do to regulate A.I, but NO talk about UBI. All that will do is leave a loophole for a corporation somewhere to exploit as we treat them with kiddie gloves while they prey on American employees. That's how it happens.

The country keeps approaching these corporations with the trust/expectation that they'll do the right thing, yet we see the results time and time again - because they don't want to play hard against them.

This country will protect a foreign-born mogul from China and their rich family before they protect you. That's the truth.

The purpose of criticism is to make things BETTER. If we have the funds to prosecute 2 wars that produced nothing and cost us over 2 TRILLION dollars, then we have the funds to make sure black people aren't getting murdered by police, languishing in poverty and having to die earlier than their white counterparts because we can't access health care on the level that they can. The amount of money that is wasted on sending arms to Israel, that was wasted on Iraq and Afghanistan, and the amount of wage theft going on that is unpoliced by the government since they want to get on the good side of businesses that have now become far too powerful could actually have put a sizeable dent in the healthcare and housing crisis here and would have actually gotten the ball rolling on reparations.

But you have people saying some smooth brain shyt like "well if she doesn't like it she should leave!"

Yeah, now with creatively dead people and all these Coli posters talking about "STEM or Die!" are merely being played and undermined. Since they were taught not to use innovation or to "break" rigid structures, they cannot invent anything new, which largely contradicts the nature of black people. Arts and music teaches us how to become DIFFERENT and to be of God's individual image.
